Loan Modification Workout Packages are sometimes the same as Short Sale Workout Packages, however the SS package uses all the forms requested and the Loan Modifications sometimes just need a Financial Form for starters and Hardship Letter and then later on will request more specific documentation – and this varies from person to person, file to file even within the same lender, though often the lender/negotiator will just simply want the complete package, no matter what, if there is a loss to the bank.
